About HD Phantoms

HD Phantoms is an effort to make quantitative imaging phantoms for CT accessible and reproducible.

The project is a progressive standard for a 3D-printable, commonly-sized (20 cm), modular insert phantom. Users are free to adopt as much or as little of the standard as is useful. The standard covers the basic dimensions of the phantom body, key features to make it more useful and reproducible, and the basic compatible insert design.

We place the specification for the HD phantom body and insert shape in the public domain to be free to everyone to use for any purpose.
